Specially tailored exercises, line-by-line feedback, positive responses and guidance – these services are designed to help make the Norwegian programme Kikora revolutionise pupils’ relationship with mathematics across the world. The first to benefit from the programme are itslearning users in Norway.
All calculations can be carried out in the programme, and pupils are given direct feedback on each line of calculations. Pupils may choose their preferred calculation method, and the programme understands units such as kilograms and watts as well as concepts such as angles, lines, probability etc. The programme also provides hints and answers.
The programme currently contains thousands of exercises for secondary level and sixth form students, and the aim is to quickly expand it to also cover primary and higher education.

Increased motivation with immediate feedback
Currently one out of three students drops maths during sixth form. Kikora and itslearning aim to change the difficult relationship that many pupils have with mathematics and to give them the positive feeling of mastering the subject. With Kikora pupils get immediate responses to everything they have done correctly.
Better use of teaching time
Gjennom det unike verktøyet fra Kikora og itslearning's spekter av funksjonalitet har Kikora skapt noe som det ikke finnes maken til i skolen i dag.
Thanks to the unique Kikora tool and itslearning’s functionality range, Kikora has created an unparalleled innovation for our schools. Teachers can easily set tasks and homework, which are then corrected automatically. With the automated correction and reporting feature, teachers obtain a full overview of the pupils’ work and progress while freeing up a great deal of time that can be used for tutoring, interacting with pupils and following up pupils individually. The parent portal gives parents easy access to summary reports and task lists containing Kikora data.
